Submissions
We are looking for well-written, polished novels that fit into the socially engaged novel category, namely novels that are character-driven and actively address a social or economic justice issue. We are committed to publishing those authors who have been underrepresented in publishing and welcome submissions from all over the world. Right now we are particularly eager to see novels that address the fracturing relationship between individuals and the ecosystems upon which they rely.

Fiction Submissions

Alder House Books Socially Engaged Fiction Prize
The winner will receive book publication, a $500 honorarium, and a $1,000 travel/publicity grant to promote their book. Your entry must be socially engaged fiction.
